O ano de 2020 foi com certeza um dos anos mais produtivos do século, musicalmente falando. Com o isolamento causado pela pandemia do “novo” coronavirus, muitos músicos e produtores se viram em um momento propício para a produção de novos materiais (álbuns, EPs, singles, video clipes, etc.). Essa atual situação também serviu de inspiração no processo criativo e assim surgiram muitas novas bandas e projetos solo.
Desde o final de 2015 eu organizo playlist e sets reunindo os lançamentos do ano. Quem tiver interesse, pode ouvir as seleções de 2016 à 2019 na minha página do Mixcloud ou no meu canal do Youtube, que conta com as playlists de 2015 à 2019, além dos sets.
Para criar esses sets eu geralmente selecionava 70 álbuns (algumas edições contam com EPs), mas como 2020 foi um ano recheado de lançamentos, a tarefa ficou ainda mais díficil e eu decidi aumentar esse número, criando uma seleção de 100 álbuns dividida em dois sets de mais de 3 horas de música. E mesmo assim alguns nomes ficaram de fora. E por isso eu resolvi criar essa lista com mais 30 álbuns lançados no ano que felizmente ficou pra trás. A lista conta com artistas de post-punk, shoegaze, dark wave, synth-pop, minimal wave, cold wave e EBM de diversas nacionalidades.
Abaixo você confere 130 álbuns quase que em ordem alfabética, contendo algumas informações como o nome do artista, título do álbum, gravadora, origem e link para ouvir no Bandcamp ou no Spotify.
